Job Description
    Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Candidates must be available for in-person interviews in our Connecticut office.


    Works independently and as part of a team developing .Net applications written in VB.Net, writes clear and concise technical implementation documents and code. Uses strong verbal communication skills to explain and transfer knowledge both informally and at design and code review meetings. Prepares regular periodic status reports. Works directly with business users and non-technical personnel. Mentor and lead junior technical staff when needed. Supervises 2 junior programmers.

    Required Skills include:
  • Knowledge of ASP.Net, JQuery, Web Service Development, SQL Server Reporting Services & SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Must have working knowledge of database design and development using SQL Server 2005 or greater.
  • Must have experience supervising two or more junior software developers.
  • A minimum of three years of experience developing .Net applications.
  • A minimum of three years of experience using SQL Server 2005 or later.
  • Knowledge of object orientated and n-tier software design.
  • Knowledge of and direct experience developing Web Services.
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server source code repository.
  • A proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work well with a team of developers and business analysts.
  • Working knowledge and experience developing WinForms or WebForms applications.
Education Requirements

    The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology but an applicant with only a bachelor's degree must possess at least five years of post degree progressive experience in an occupation related to Information Technology such as Developer. In the alternative, an applicant who possesses a Master's degree in Information Technology will qualify for the position without the 5 years of post-degree progressive experience.
